My name is Gergana Ivanova. I am from Bulgaria but I came to the UK in 2010. Bulgaria is a beautiful country, located in South-Eastern Europe and it is a dreamed destination for many tourists.It is also the perfect home for everyone. However, I’ve chosen to come to the United Kingdom because of a person I loved. I started working and after that, I started studying. I have decided to stay because I like the North East and I enjoy being here but I wait for the summer to come with such an excitement as that is when I go home to see my family.
I graduated in Magazine Journalism and this blog was part of my assignment. I enjoy writing and this blog is a great opportunity to share my experiences and publish some of my work.
As I would like to be a freelance journalist I am writing on different subjects. I also write poetry and short stories and my biggest dream is to be a book writer. Some people say it is naive to believe it could happen but I know I can do it.
Do not let anyone put you down. Believe in yourself and believe that if you are determined enough you can do a lot more than other people can even imagine.
